Xavier’s Symposiums aim to inculcate an interest in independent research among students and promote the research capacity of those who are keen to engage themselves in research work. It provides a platform to students to understand published works, determine an area of interest, and jump-start their career as researchers.

SYMPOSIUM 2019-20
The Department of Economics organized a Multi-disciplinary Symposium on Sustainable Development Goals: A Critical Analysis at St. Xavier's College, Jaipur on 9 November 2019 in collaboration with the Rajasthan Economic Association. The Symposium comprised three technical sessions covering all the Sustainable Development Goals. The themes were: Poverty and hunger; quality education and gender equality; access, availability, and affordability for Session 1, Global partnership, peace, and justice for Session 2, and Agriculture and climate change for Session 3. The students presented their papers across these themes and interacted with the participants about trends and innovations in sustainable development. The Symposium concluded with a valedictory ceremony with closing remarks by the Principal followed by certificate and souvenir distribution. The Department of Commerce and Management organized National Symposium on "Strategies for Reshaping Business and Economy: Sustainable Development Perspective" at St. Xavier's College, Jaipur on 18th December 2019. It provided a unique interdisciplinary platform to the students who presented their research work and discussed the most recent innovations, trends and concerns, practical challenges encountered, and solutions provided. This symposium was designed to study and examine wide-ranging changes and their ramifications.
